Blue Mountain Sports arranged a bike shuttle for my group from Jim Thorpe to the top of the Black Diamond trail allowing us to ride 'The Full Monty' of the Black Diamond and Lehigh Gorge trail. Staff was very helpful in coordinating the arrangements, getting us on the van, and delivering us to the trailhead in an efficient manner. Van ride comfortable and bikes arrived safely. Will use this company again for this great ride.
The owner was to busy taking tourists out on a bike ride. ...I guess repairing 2 locally owned bikes is too boring and not enough money for this place.
Had a good experience using the bike shuttle to White Haven. The people in the shop were pleasant and helpful and our shuttle driver (Tom?), was quite friendly and knowledgeable about bikes and the trail and local information. Blue Mt. offered a wider variety of shuttle times than the other shop we checked with. Will definitely use Blue Mountain Sports again for the shuttle.
Horrible service. ...just brought 2 bikes looking for repair was told that owner wanted to know why did I even bring them in???
The bigger bike company in town was very rude over the phone so I went to Blue Mountain instead. I had called the other company because I was running late and said in the rudest tone possible that I would have to be 45 minutes early to the shuttle or I wouldn't be allowed on. So I went to Blue Mountain instead and I got there just as the shuttle left and an employee here carried my bike out of my van, ran with it to the shuttle that was already off and turning the corner, and flagged it down to let me on. I sat in the front and had a delightful conversation with the kind and cheerful shuttle driver all the way up. My family had a terrific day that we would have had to cancel if Blue Mountain hadn't come to my rescue.
These guys literally saved our biking trip! After a long day of sitting in traffic for hours with a very tired/hungry six year old we got into town about 3pm only to hear that everyone stopped running shuttles at 2pm. The staff at blue mountain didn’t hesitate to offer us a ride to the top of the trial although they too had stopped officially running shuttles an hour earlier. Additionally, the ride was fun, comfortable and very informative!!! We be using them every year from now on!!!
I have never been treated like this before from any business. Don't go!
